Our  beginnings

In 1979 we founded Brouwer together with veterinarians, giving life to the challenge of creating a domestic company to serve the needs of the animal nutrition market. Based upon our work and self-improvement spirit, in few years we were already producing drugs for companion animals and livestock, offering highly efficient novel products to satisfy the most demanding needs of the market.
Thus, encouraged by the response of veterinarians and the outstanding results of our products, we began our expansion towards the foreign market, with the aim of reinforcing our position in the international market.

Brouwer is today a leader lab that has accompanied Veterinarians, Producers and Pets’ Owners for over 31 years in animal care to meet the market’s most demanding needs.

Brouwer's culture: Innovation and Development

Innovation and development have been a constant feature throughout the life of the company.
Thus, spot-on technology that is currently used by most laboratories for the control of fleas and ticks on small animals, was already used by Brouwer in 1982 for our Drop insecticide that acts on fleas, and our insecticide against ticks Tiper P in the Argentinian and Latin American markets.
We also developed Tipertox, the first spray insecticide against scabies, lice and flies on cattle in Argentina, based on the synergic combination of its active ingredients Diazinon and Cypermthrin.
Our pipette against fleas and ticks for dogs, Power spot-on, was the first product worldwide to combine Imidacloprid and Permethrin, a combination that proved to be a success in the past and that nowadays is highly used in the market of external antiparasitics, both in Argentina and in the rest of the world.
